The park, which is only a short drive from Stavanger city centre, is known for its Freia Chocolate Factory where the children make their own Norwegian chocolate, the huge Gulliver structure and all its teddy bears.

This year's new attraction is a big dipper equivalent to the ones found in the Disney parks in Florida and California in the USA.

At the park you will also find one of Norway’s longest bobsleigh runs, a mine train, a western town and a traditional Norwegian farm. There are plenty of places where you can buy food and drinks. The park even has its own camp site and hotel.

Prices

Prices start at NOK 185 for adults and children, and NOK 90 for senior citizens.
Free entrance for anyone under 90 centimetres.

How to get there

Kongeparken is located in scenic surroundings at Algard by the E39, 10 minutes by car from Sandnes and 20 minutes by car from Stavanger.
